The Institute for Health & Recovery
The Institute for Health and Recovery serves young adults (18-24) in recovery from substance abuse. This project, located in South Boston, offers a variety of services and activities to assist young adults at all stages of treatment and recovery. Staff works to create a safe and empowering community through individual counseling, relapse prevention, group counseling, home and community based services, case management, education and employment assistance, and service linkages and referrals. Donated art will hang in the entry, main group area, and conference room to demonstrate the amazing power of creativity and foster freedom from limitations. The art enhances their desire to cultivate a place that is colorful so that participants feel good about coming to the program, proud to be a part of the community, and be inspired to be free from a life of addiction and wonder about a life of possibilities.
