Still Harbor

Art placement: 2012
Still Harbor supports and accompanies individuals and organizations, regardless of belief or circumstance, as they wrestle with questions of personal meaning, purpose, and social concern. All of Still Harbors programs are intended to raise awareness about the self, the social conscience, and to encourage responsible global citizenship by linking beliefs and knowledge to behavior and action. Through retreats, training sessions, facilitations, counseling, and more, Still Harbor serves a wide range of people and organizations. Some of these include survivors of trauma, abuse, marginalized communities, university students, service providers, and business people. Art donations are being placed at their Center for Discernment and Action in South Boston, where individuals and organizations come together for reflection, study, discernment, and meaningful exchange. It is here that Still Harbor offers most of their programming and counseling, and is also a space where others are able to have meetings and retreats. Art will hang in the center’s multipurpose room, living room, kitchen, conference room, parlor, and in hallways.
