Cambridge Community Services

Cambridge Community Services (CCS) is a community-based organization whose mission is to identify emerging needs in the Cambridge community and design innovative, collaborative solutions to these needs. CCS’ direct service initiatives currently focus on youth development and feature higher education access, an intervention program for new immigrant youth, internship experience, career exploration, one-to-one mentoring and tutoring, community service and civic leadership. The agency was established in 1938 as a federation of agencies. In keeping with their history of being conveners, they rent office space in their large Central Square building is to 15 other nonprofit, community-based organizations, and all organizations share the conference room, as do other local community groups.

Donated artwork hang in this conference room as well as throughout the hallways, classroom spaces, mentors’ offices, and in the reception area. Learn more about CCS online at www.cambridgecommunity.org
