Devine Recovery Center

The Gavin Foundation is a multi-service agency providing comprehensive, community- based substance abuse education, prevention and treatment. They opened the Devine Recovery Center (DRC) in January of 2013. The DRC is a welcoming environment for participants age 18 and up.  The center’s mission is to provide a place of support for persons in recovery from various types of addiction. Their doors are open daily for classes, meetings, and social events.  Members are encouraged to participate in the recovery process and develop activities, meetings and events to take place in the center. This gives everyone the opportunity to give back to others, which for many is a significant part of personal recovery. Many members participated in the art selection process, just another opportunity to make the Devine Recovery Center their own.

Artwork now hangs in the entrance, hallways, living and dining rooms, game rooms, computer room, and meeting spaces. Art also hangs in DRC’s two Access to Recovery offices, serving individuals involved with the criminal justice system and affected by substance use.
