Riverside Outpatient Center, Newton

Riverside Community Care works with individuals, families, and communities by delivering compassionate, locally-based, integrated behavioral healthcare and human services. Each year, more than 40,000 people across Massachusetts depend on Riverside for care. We are currently working with the Riverside Outpatient Center in Newton. The site is one of Riverside’s seven outpatient centers offering comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment services using individual, family, and group therapy. The Riverside Outpatient Center in Newton serves 1,000 people per year.
Staff and administration at this agency site communicate a sense of hope, healing, recovery and respect for their clients and feel that art through The Art Connection will help them achieve this further. Artwork hangs in the entrance, children’s waiting area, hallways, stairwells, and in the conference room where groups meet.
