About Transition House
Transition House works with people recovering from the trauma of domestic abuse and violence --it's intense, complicated, painful and also incredibly hopeful work. They believe that art will reinforce the hope at the heart of our work. And especially at this moment in the organization's evolution (when they're serving more people with dwindling resources) they need art around us to brighten our days, feed our souls and remind everyone who walks through our doors that Transition House nurtures creative thinking and possibilities in our work. The donated art will hang in the waiting areas, meeting rooms, and community spaces to reflect the energy and commitment Transition House shares with their clients and the community, and help support change, growth, and healing for their program participants.
