Mission Main Tenant Task Force

Art Placement: 2011 The Mission Main Tenant Task Force is a Local Tenant Organization working on improving the living conditions for residents of Mission Main Housing Development. The development includes the 535-units comprised of both townhomes and apartments. Residents are predominantly families and aging adults of Hispanic and African American backgrounds, who come into the Tenant Task Force office on as-needed basis. The Task Force advocates on behalf of all residents, promotes their economic and social welfare, and seeks to improve physical and social conditions of the development to insure a secure environment for all. The Task Force provides employment and volunteer opportunities and hosts events including health fairs, gift-card and cultural event ticket giveaways, and game nights. Donated artwork will hang in the waiting area, conference room, meeting rooms, and in the lobby of the development’s main residential building.
