Project Citizenship

Project Citizenship’s (formerly the Greater Boston Citizenship Initiative) mission is to educate immigrants about the benefits of citizenship, and to help eligible, legal permanent residents overcome barriers to naturalization. They provide clients with free resources including workshops, eligibility screening, application assistance, legal referrals, direct legal assistance, and all materials needed to apply for U.S. citizenship. In addition, Project Citizenship has 10 community partner agencies that provide a range of support services, including civics instruction, application assistance, and English as a second language (ESOL) classes.

The art will show Project Citizenship clients, who typically have been in the US for three-five years, that they are valued and deserve to be surrounded by beauty. Artwork will hang in the reception and conference area, and the program manager and legal offices, where clients go to seek help.
