West Roxbury Academy

West Roxbury Academy is a Boston Public School committed to providing a rigorous curriculum with an emphasis on business, graphic arts, and marketing that helps to prepare students for college, careers, and service. Each day, West Roxbury Academy (WRA) engages students in lessons that require them to Write, Read and Analyze. The school not only hopes students will graduate, but that when they leave high school they will have the skills to navigate the ever-evolving 21st Century workforce.

WRA is proud to be a diverse school community, with 86% of the students coming from low income households or receiving free or reduced lunch. Having artwork by local artists not only beautifies school grounds, it cultivates a creative environment. Because marketing and graphic arts are key components of WRA’s teaching mission, providing direct access to original artwork aids in inspiring students’ own creative pursuits and demonstrates their potential impact.
