Jeremiah-Endicott Program

Jeremiah-Endicott Program transitions low-income single mothers and their children from poverty to prosperity, two generations at a time. The program’s new space near Dudley Square in the historic home of the Warren family will provide a safe, secure place where moms and kids can come together to relax and grow.

The Jeremiah-Endicott Program is a partnership between The Jeremiah Program, founded in Minneapolis in the late ‘90s, and Endicott College, which offers a Keys to Degrees program that caters to single parents. The program allows women to take classes developed for a two-year associate’s degree curriculum at Endicott’s Boston campus. The Warren home provides a place where moms can take empowerment and life skills classes, study, find respite, and take comfort in the companionship of other single mothers who understand their challenges and ambitions.
Art hangs throughout the Warren house, highlighting beautiful historic architectural details like fireplaces and tall ceilings in rooms now used as classrooms, coaching spaces,  a computer lab, an administrative office, and a special learning and play area for children.  Art helps to make the space welcoming and make families feel at "home" while they build a better place for themselves in the bustle of the city.
